An excellent and consistent branding will give you a great foundation to build your new business. Start to set out some basic principles of how you would like your business’s image to be seen by others. Afterwards, show your customers and your staff how you work and the quality of your product or service.Your brand guidelines should include:An overview of your brand’s history, vision, personality and key valuesBrand message or business mission statementLogo usage – where and how to use your logo including sizes and spacingColor palette – showing your color palettes for print and for webFonts – showing the specific font(s) that you use and how they are to be used, including the weight and versionsImage & photography – examples of image style and photographs that best represent your brandDesign examples – examples of how the logo, font and colors are typically used for all documents.
