Bye Bye Balloon

It was an interesting and promising arrangement—Corel's agreement to distribute and market Xara. Kind of put me in mind of the fox guarding the hen house?

But as of the next release of Xara, hopefully due out by the end of the month, Xara will be back in the driver's seat, and the Corel hot air balloon will drift off into the distance.

With this in mind, or in my subconscious mind? this month's tutorial puts Xara's powerful Mould Tool to the test as we create a festive, departing hot air balloon.

Xara 3D 4.0 , last I heard, was slated for release by the second week in May. Check i/us or Xara.com in a week or two for the announcement.
